Humidity in the air can accelerate some plant’s growing speed and make the surface of plants smooth and shine.

50% Humidity

50% humidity is like most place in the world, it is suitable for both plants in growing season and dormancy. For dormancy plants, try to avoid high humidity especially during day time.

70% humidity happens in rainy day or after watering plants. Rainy day during growing season is the best time to water the plant, For dormancy plants, increase airflow would help reduce humidity both in soil and air, avoid rotting roots.

100% humidity is best only in growing season, it keeps soil wet and helps plant grow faster and shinier surface. Winter plants in dormancy can be water in summer, if humidity is cause by rainy day( due to lower temperature), not by seal confine space.
